Day 1 Income Protection
'Day 1' Income Protection
provides a replacement income for vets who are unable to work due to
illness or injury. Claims are valid from the very 1st day
- there is no deferred period.

To give you an idea, some of claims processed within the last year:
26 weeks throat cancer, 19 weeks overactive thyroid, 15 days
Appendicitis, 8 days viral infection, 7 days broken wrist, 2 days
flu. Stress/Anxiety is the only exclusion, but Omega can make stress
cover available for under 50’s if required.
Claims are self-certified for the first
week and weekly payment lasts until recovery or up to age 65 -
whichever comes first.
